Ray of Hope for North Bengal Industrialization: ICC ‘Destination North Bengal’ [VIDEO]

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 6th May, 2017: Destination North Bengal was today organized by ICC (Indian Chamber of Commerce) at Royal Sarovar, Siliguri. The main focus of the summit was to come up with a comprehensive report on the business, trade, marketing development of North Bengal based industries i.e. Tea, Tourism, Forestry etc. Overall, ‘Destination North Bengal’ tried to show up a brief picture in front.
The program was organized with a joint collaboration with the state government’s Department of North Bengal Development. The inauguration was done by the North Bengal Development Minister Mr. Rabindranath Ghosh. The dignitaries present were secretary of North Bengal Development Mr. Barun Roy, Chairman of WBIDPB Mr. Siddharth (Retd IAS), Vice president of ICC Mr. Rudra Chatterjee, Managing Director of WEBEL Mr. Kaushik Haldar, Vice Chairman of Neotia Healthcare Mr. P. L. Mehta and many others.
Almost all the speakers and dignitaries expressed the similar viewpoint and appealed to the industry about safely investing in the innovative and also the traditional projects of North Bengal. It is not only the Siliguri and adjoining regions but also the entire North Bengal i.e. Coochbehar, Jalpaiguri, Malda, Uttar Dinajpur and Dakshin Dinajpur needed to get attention. Both the cabinet ministers i.e. MIC NBDD Mr. Rabindranath Ghosh and MIC Tourism Mr. Gautam Deb expressed their hope for the future industrialization development.
